Lily Rabe
Lily Rabe is an American actress from the United States. She is most well-known for her multiple roles on the FX anthology horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021). For her performance as Portia in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice, she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Her films include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits(2017). Vice (2018). Fractured, 2019. On television, Rabe also appeared in the show The Whispers (2015), The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021) and The First Lady (2022). The first time she appeared on screen was 2001, alongside Jill Clayburgh, her mother. She also made her first professional stage appearance with her mother at the Gloucester Stage Company of Massachusetts. She was in Speaking Well of the Dead (by Israel Horovitz) and The Crazy Girl (by Frank Pugliese) The roles allowed her to be granted an Equity Card. [9] In 2003, she returned at the Gloucester Stage Company to star in Proof by David Auburn. She also appeared in Mona Lisa Smile that year. After graduating, she came back to New York. Deirdre O’Connor's White Jesus was her first-act play. It was part of a play series known as The Democracy Project, presented by the Naked Angels Theater Company.
